JAMES V TALANO, MD, MM, FACC
Dr. Talano is the Clinical Director and Founder of the SWICFT Institute. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and served as Chief of Cardiology and Professor of Medicine at Tulane University Medical School, Director of Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic Naples, Director of Cardiology Graphics and Chief of Clinical Cardiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Professor of Medicine at Northwestern University Medical School and at Lakeside Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Dr. Talano is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. Dr. Talano received his medical degree from Loyola University Medical School. He conducted his residency and cardiovascular fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute in Washington DC and also served a clinical fellowship in Cardiology at Tufts University Hospital in Boston. In addition, he holds a Masters in Management degree from the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management and is a retired Major in the US Army Reserve Medical Corp. Dr. Talano has authored over 150 original articles, chapters, and review articles.
