  Terry DeSalvo, Jr.

  Junior Partner

  Attorney Terry DeSalvo is originally from Youngstown, Ohio and moved to Southwest Florida in 2003. In 2007 Terry graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) and quickly began preparing to enter law school. After FGCU, Terry attended Florida Coastal School of Law (FCSL), in Jacksonville, where he graduated Cum Laude and in the Top 14% of his law class. During law school, Terry gained experience as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable James R. Adams in Lee County. He also tried and won his first case, while in his 3L year of law school, as a Certified Legal Intern with the State Attorney’s Office of the 20th Judicial Circuit. Before joining Family First Legal Group as Junior Partner, Terry had practiced as an Associate Attorney exclusively in the area of Family Law in Lee, Charlotte, and Collier counties. Terry believes in being patient and understanding, but not backing down from a fight when needed. Overall, his continued mission is to be a great advocate for his clients at Family First Legal Group, a respectful colleague, and an upstanding member of the Southwest Florida community.

  Michele Hollar

  Supervising Attorney

  Michele is a native of Sterling, Illinois. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas with a degree in Psychology and continued on to law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law. After graduating from law school she successfully founded and managed her private practice for over twenty years primarily practicing Family Law. Michele gained extensive courtroom and litigation experience representing clients in divorce, custody, domestic violence, paternity, property division, modification, child support, relocation and alimony cases. Michele is licensed in Florida and Oklahoma.

  John Gilhart II

  Associate Attorney

  John is a native of Florida, growing up in Naples. He attended Stetson University, earning his Juris Doctorate from their College of Law and MBA from their School of Business Administration. After graduating he moved back to Naples to remain close to his family. John began his practice in civil litigation where he was exposed to wide variety of cases in matters of probate, domestic violation, construction defect, insurance, collection, employment, and landlord tenant. While he enjoyed civil litigation John desired to narrow his focus to that which he finds most important, family. Thus, he joined the team of Family First Legal Group. John is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida.

  J. Presley Davis

  Associate Attorney

  Presley is native of Atlanta, Georgia. She obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Georgia and is an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. Presley moved to Naples, Florida, to earn her Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law. While in law school, Presley served as the President of the Women’s Law Association and as a Senior Editor for the Ave Maria Law Review. Presley began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the 20th Judicial Circuit. During her time as a Prosecutor, Presley handled hundreds of cases and gained valuable courtroom and trial experience. Presley is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida.

  Alex Peterson

  Owner, Principal Attorney & Speaker

  Mr. Peterson graduated from Ave Maria School of Law. He practices exclusively matrimonial and family law and has helped many families find stability in the midst of divorce or custody disputes. To further his knowledge, Alex has studied at Parent Coaching International as well as the Proctor Gallagher Institute.
